Janmastami Utsav of Mahapurush Sankardev was celebrated at SANKARI
NAMGHAR, Kharupetia with whole day long different programmes organized
by the Assamese communities of Kharupetia. A large number people from
Bengali community were also joined in this programme and share &
enjoy the pleasure of it. Special Puja (Prayer), Nam were arranged. A
team of Nam Sangeet were invited to join this programme.

About 30 girls/women team of Nam Singer from Dakchowki (near Mangaldai) ( ANJALI DEKA's TEAM) offered their Nam Sangkirtan and the present audience and Bhaktas (Followers) were charmed. Some of the audience and bhaktas inspired the artists by cash presents. The programme ended at about 11 p.m. All the audience and Bhaktas were distributed Prasad and Khichuri which were very tasteful as per audience. By the skilled conduct of Srijut Krishna Kanta Hazarika and Sri Nilamoni Choudhury the programme was ended successfully.
