68th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT KHARUPETIA TOWN

 
          The 68th Independence Day has been observed and celebrated at Kharupetia Town on 15th August, 2014 centrally at Kharupetia Town Field with whole day long programme. 

 The field has been well decorated by coloured papers and banners. Students and teachers from different schools of Kharupetia Town have joined in the programme with national flags in the hands of the students and slogans in their mouth “Jain Hind”, Vendemataram etc. 
 
Large number of respected persons and intellectual persons of the town have joined in the programme. The members of NGOs and Mahila Samiti of this town have also been joined.
At about 8.30 a.m. SRI ASISH NANDI (JOY), Chairman of Kharupetia Town has hoisted the flag.  Then he addressed the residents of this town and mention the work and schemes which have already been completed in the town in the interest of the people in tenure of the present body. His attractive speech has charmed the presented public. 

Then the devotional songs have been sung by the students of Sailabala High School, Kharupetia Town Girls High School, Kharupetia H.S. School, Mitali Sangeet Vidyalaya, Tiger Sangeet Vidyalaya etc.

 
 The artists and students of Tiger Sangeet Vidyalaya have offered a cultural item which have attract the attention of the public. The presented public have been distributed Cold Drink by the Kharupetia Town Committee. 





Then a musical chair event has been arranged among the girls of this town. A pretty football match will be played at Town field at 4 p.m. between the staff of KTC and the teachers.

DANDI BOM CELEBRATION AT KHARUPETIA TOWN

Like other years this year also Dandi Bom was celebrated on 10th August, 2014 on Sunday Night. The programme was arranged and managed by a number of energetic youths of Kharupetia Town. More than two thousand Dandies were joined in this programme from this town and other neighbouring places.

 The Dandi was started from Kharupetia Chariali Shiva Mandir & Trinath Ashram, then they went following chariali police point, G.N.B. Road, Shmashan Patty Road and ended at Kharupetia Smashan Siva Mandir. A number of stalls (Service Centre) was set up by the G.N.B. Road to avail the Dandis helps. 




All Assam Bengali Hindu Youth Students' Federation, Kharupetia Anchalik Committee, Marowari Yuva Manch, Kharupetia Local Committee, Rising Youth Guys, All Assam Bhojpuri Youth Parishad, Kharupetia Committee, Sahara India Parivar (Workers of Kharueptia),. 
 A medical team from Kharupetia P.H.C. joined in the programme to avail the medical aids to the injured persons. The shmashan Shiva Mandir was well decorated with electric light and flags.

NAMAJ OF IDD AT KHARUPETIA TOWN

 
 Like other years this year also the Namaj of Idd was held on 29th July, 2014 at Kharupetia Town Jame Maszid field. Thousand of Muslim people joined in this Namaj. They came different neighbouring places of this town. The Namaj was stated at about 9 a.m. Large number of children came near Town Jame Maszid with colourful new dresses. After finishing Namaj the muslim people embraced each other and convey Good Wishers and complements in this regard.

CELEBRATION OF DIAMOND JUBILEE OF SAILABALA HIGH SCHOOL, KHARUPETIA



           It is a great pleasure for me to announce that Sailabala High School Kharupetia, the only Bengali medium co-educational High School in the district of Darrang, in the state of Assam,India has completed more than sixty years of its glorious existence and is planning to celebrate its Diamond Jubilee very soon. For this purpose a meeting was convened on 17th November, 2013 in presence of former teachers, students, donors, guardians, existing teaching and non teaching staffs and members of the SMDC of the school. The meeting was   presided over by Sri Srimanta Sarkar, former Headmaster of the school. A central Diamond Jubilee celebration committee is formed with Sri Ashish Nandi, Chairman, Kharupetia Town Committee as the President and Sri Sanjib Kumar Saha, retd. teacher of the School as working President. Eleven Sub-committees are also formed for smooth functioning of the programme. The Diamond Jubilee is likely to be celebrated in the last part of the year 2014.
 


The Committee has decided to celebrate the function  ceremoniously commencing on 5th January, 2015.. To make this event most memorable and colorful we need financial help from every quarter of life.



Therefore, I, on behalf of Diamond Jubilee celebration committee seek  moral and financial support from citizens, our beloved students, especially ex-students.

Election at Kharupetia Town, on 24th April, 2014 (General Election)

Voters are standing in rows for casting their votes.
A grate number of women voters are standing in rows for casting their votes.
              

               With other places of the country the voters of Kharupetia Town has come out from their houses for casting their votes to choose the Member of Parliament of 8 No. Mangaldai Lok Sabha Constituency as this town is under this Mangaldai Lok Sabha Constituency.

              There are 12 Nos. candidates are in the polling competition. Some of them are Sri Ramen Deka from B.J.P. Party which is also an existing M.P. of this constituency, Sri Madhab Rajbangshi from A.G.P. Party and a former M.P. of this constituency, Sri Kirip Chaliha from Congress Party, Sri Paresh Baishya from A.I.U.D.F. party, who is a silent candidate (he made no campaign) , Miss. Namrata Sarma from Aam Admi Party etc.

Women voters are in rows in the polling station.
           The voter public of this town has come out from their house leaving all domestic works after 6 a.m. in the morning in large number to cast their votes. The interest of the voters is notice able. The new voters are very excited to cast their first votes in their lives. There are 8 words in this town and the polling stations are made at Sailabala High School, Kharupetia H.S. School, Kharupetia Town Girls High School , Tapoban L.P. School and Kharupetia Town L.P. School. Upto 12 Noon about 35 percent votes have been cast.

65th REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION at KHARUPETIA TOWN

65th REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION at KHARUPETIA TOWN :


This year also the 65th Republic Day was celebrated centrally at Kharupetia Town Field organized by KHARUPETIA TOWN COMMITTEE and the members of TIGER CLUB offered their helping hands in this programme for smooth functioning it. Over thousand people including the respected and intellectual persons, fire service personals, workers from Kharupetia 30 beded hospital, police personnels from Kharupetia Police Station, all the word commissioners of Kharupetia Town Committee were also attended in this programme. 


About 8-30 a.m. SRI ASISH NANDI (JOY), Hon'ble Chairman of Kharupetia Town Committee hoisted the National Flag with the co-operation of Sri Pradip Sarkar, Sri Dibakar Nandi and Sri Partha Chakraborty (all are the employees of K.T.C.). Then the police personnels showed their guard of honour and parade. The the Chairman addressed the hon'ble public of Kharupetia Town with his speeches in which he mentioned all the schemes and developmental works which were done and would be done in near future from this present body of Town committee. He also requested the public to be active and make co-operation to the representatives of KTC for doing the developmental work more smoothly and perfectly. 


After Chairman's speech cultural programme was delivered. Some devotional songs were sung by the students of Sailabala High School, Kharupetia Town Girls' High School, Tiger Sangeet Vidyalaya and Mitali Sangeet Vidyalaya. The the children of Tiger Sangeet Vidyalaya and Mitali Sangeet Vidyalaya performed dance programme which the festival made more and more coloured. The dance programme were managed by Sri Chanchal Dutta, Cultural Secretary of Tiger Club and Miss Krishna Saha, dance teacher of Tiger Sangeet Vidyalaya of Kharupetia. 


A local artist Sri Gour Sutradhar sang a sweet devotional song. The dance programme of the youth students of Tiger Sangeet Vidyalaya was praiseworthy. After finishing cultural programme the presented students and children are distributed sweets from the Organizing committee. Then the Musical Chair event was started among the girls. 


A pretty Cricket Match was also arranged between Kharupetia Town Committee 11th Versus Kharueptia Teachers 11th. All the programmes were enjoyed by the public of Kharupetia peacefully and they encouraged the participants by the more and more claps.

Today the 22nd May, 2013 Wednesday, 10 Nos. Ceiling Fan have been distributed at Kharupetia Gopal Nagar L.P. School Hall in a meeting by the Baranch Manager Mr. Tapan Ch. Das, State Bank of India, Kharupetia Branch under the scheme of Bank " Community Services Banking Donation of Ceiling Fans". 5 fans to Gopal Nagar L.P. School and 5 fans to Punia M.E. Madrassa. FORMATION OF NEW ORGANIZATION AT KHARUPETIA



A public meeting of Greater Kharupetia area has been held today on 19th May, 2013, Sunday at the community hall in the premises of Kharupetia Ramkrishna Sevashram, Above one thousand respected public, intelectual persons, teachers, social workers etc. have been presented in this meeting. It has been started at about 12 noon and ended at 3 p.m. The meeting has been presided over by Sri Dilip Kr. Roy. In the dice Ranjit Sarkar (Nandu), Santosh Toshniwal (famous businessman), Ananda Saha (Ex-Ward Commissioner of Kharupetia Town Committee, Sri Akhil Saha (Bhanu), Ex-Chairman of KTC, Sri Dhanpat Dugar (President of Wholesale Gala Marchant Association), Asish Nandi, Chairman of Kharupetia Town Committee, Sri Hrishikesh Chakraborty, Headmaster of Sailabala High School, Sri Dilip Kumar Roy, Ex-Vice Chairman of KTC, Dr. Parimal Kumar Dutta, Ph.D. (Head of Department, Sanskrit, Kharupetia College, Sri Sanjib Kr. Saha, Ex-Teacher of Sailabala High School, Sri Ajit Kr. Basanta Utsav at Kharupetia held on auspicious occasion of Doljatraa on 27th March, 3013, Wednessday. The programme was organised by the members of KHARUPETIA TIGER CLUB and conduct the same by specialy Miss Krishna Saha. In this programme about one thousand local residents, students were joined. It was started from Tiger club. They joined in a procession which moved by NH-52 to Motor Syndicate, then Ramnagar, Ramnagar to Chariali to Nageshwar then to Tiger club via M.B. Road with dancing and singing Tagor's song.

SUBAL SARMAH, Principal is no more.

OUR RESPECTED SIR SUBAL SARMAH, Principal of KHARUPETIA TOWN LEFT US AS WELL AS THIS WORLD ON 21/02/13.

A VERY SAD NEWS FOR THE LEARNERS, STUDENTS OF KHARUPETIA TOWN.

      Our respected Sir, SUBAL SARMAH, Principal of Kharupetia Higher Secondary School was no more with us. He passed away from this world on 21st February, 2013, Thursday at about 3 p.m. out of Assam in Haire Hospital by leaving widow Smt. Sandhya Devi and only daughter Miss Palakshi Devi (Panna)

He was born on 03/01/1956. He passed M.A. and joined in Kharupetia H.S. School on 01-12-1980 as a Subject Teacher. He became Principal, i/c in December, 2010. His smiling face will be lighted in the heart of the student and his charmed persons. His Addachardha will be held on 3rd March, 2013, Sunday at his own residence Village-Upahupara (Industrial Area), Mangaldai, Darrang.
My God keeps his soul in peace.

CANDLE MARCH AT KHARUPETIA TOWN  TO PROTEST AGAINST DAMINI RAPE CASE AND PAY REVERENCE TO HER :

A Candle March was organised at KHARUPETIA TOWN on 31st  December, Monday  at 5 p.m. to protest against the Gang Rape of DAMINI at Delhi and to offer reverence to the brave daughter of India. The march was arranged by TIGER CLUB of Kharupetia and conducted by Miss Krishna Saha, Ashim Saha, Barun Paul, Nitish Ghosh etc. workers of Tiger Club. The procession was started from Tiger club and went through NH-52d to ASTC Bus Station, then Lovely Hotel through Chariali Police Point and ended it before Tiger Club. 
The Police and public offered their co-operation to conduct the same peacefully and calmly. Over two thousand students, men and women  joined in this Candle March. At last the particupants of the march have given their salute to brave DAMINI.
